English translation[]
A golden land Manipur
Thy name Manipur
A pearl from the depths of water
A blossom in the wild
Tiny but sparkling thou art.
Risen from the depths of the oceans
Fortified by mountains
Adorned in lush green apparel
Alone thou art in solemn grace.
The periphery that of a Yangkok
Thine appearance a winning face
Incident of the first rays of the sun,
A mother so caring of her children
Done up in a smile eternal.
A land of golden waves
A land dotted with silvery orbs,
Under the of blue sky
Like a jewel thou shinest.
