"Shinano Province" (信濃の国) is the regional anthem of Nagano Prefecture on Honshū. Adopted in 1968 (Showa 43), it was created for educational purposes. The lyrics were written by Asai Retsu in 1899, and the music was composed by Kitamura Sueharu in 1900.
