Robert Burns was the national poet of Scotland of the Romantic movement in the 18th century. He wrote many Scots-language poems, such as "To a Mouse", "Tam o' Shanter", and "Halloween". He also wrote many songs, including "Auld Lang Syne", "Scots Wha Hae", "A Man's A Man for A' That", "Ae Fond Kiss", and "The Battle of Sherramuir".
