"My Sacrifice" is an American patriotic song by the rock band Creed. It was released on October 16, 2001, about a month after 9/11, as the lead single from their third studio album Weathered. The song peaked at number four on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart for the week of February 9, 2002, and reached number one on the Mainstream Rock Trackschart for nine consecutive weeks, beginning in December 2001. Worldwide, the song was a top-20 hit in Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. The song was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal in 2003 at the 45th Annual Grammy Awards.
