The "Royal March of Ordinance", also known as "Royal Fanfare", was the national anthem of the Kingdom of Italy between 1861 and 1946. It was composed in 1831 by Giuseppe Gabetti by the order of Charles Albert of Sardinia as the hymn of the royal House of Savoy, along with "S'hymnu sardu nationale". Like "Marcha Real", "Inno nazionale", "Europa", and "Intermezzo", no official lyrics were adopted and this anthem is normally played without them; however, unofficial lyrics have been proposed.
