Oberleutnant Kurt Wiehle was a German military officer who composed the Nazi Wehrmacht tank song „Panzerlied“ in 1936 before the start of World War II in 1939. He was a German Army (Heer) officer who served in the Wehrmacht and possibly the SS as a SS-Panzer Division instructor Officer between 1935 and 1945 .

Kurt Wiehle is born in an unknown year in the German Empire (Germany) 1900s. He is possibly born in either the German city of Berlin or Königsberg in the German state of Prussia. It is unknown whether he was a young German soldier in the Imperial German Army of the German Empire during the end of World War I in 1918. He later joined the German Reichswehr Military in the German Army (Reichsheer) of the Weimar Republic (Germany) in 1919 or 1920. Afterward, he later became an Oberleutnant (Lieutenant) in either the 1920s or 30s. In 1933, Wiehle wrote the words to the „Panzerlied“ which was later used by the Nazis as the German Military (Wehrmacht) Tank song of the German Army (Wehrmacht Heer) in 1936 for the German Army (Wehrmacht) Panzer Division and possibly also likely used by the SS tank Divisions in the Waffen-SS combat branch of the. SS during World War II.
It is also likely that he joined the German Nazi Party paramilitary branch (the SA „Brownshirts“) in the 20s or 30s, and became a Nazi SA officer as a SA-Sturmführer (Lieutenant). He later became a Wehrmacht Panzer officer with his former Reichswehr rank Oberleutnant in the German Army (Wehrmacht Heer) of Nazi Germany. It is unknown if he was killed by a German Communist before the war in 1939 or was killed in action during a tank battle during World War II either in the Invasion of Poland or Western Front or the Eastern Front. It is unclear whether he died before during or after World War II. It is also possibly likely that Kurt Wiehle might have joined the SS maybe possibly after a German Wehrmacht Defeat in Russia during World War II in either 1941 or 1943.
