The expanses of the Motherland
You cannot walk around,
You cannot survey its fields;
Where the virgin soil once stood,
There the rye is in full bloom, —
To the people, Party,
You have given wealth.
Dear Party,
Praise to you,
Praise throughout the ages!
Chorus:
Glory to you, invincible in struggle!
Throughout the ages, our Party, praise to you!
At the Motherland's construction sites,
Bridges are growing,
Factories and houses are growing.
And all this was created
by the labor of the Soviet people, —
The Party has given the people
Happy labor.
Dear Party,
Praise to you,
Praise throughout the ages!
Chorus
For the glory of the Motherland,
For its honor,
Our people stand like a rock.
If enemies attack,
They will take up arms—
To the people, party,
You gave heroism.
Dear party,
Praise to you,
Praise forever!
Chorus
Our Motherland
Has friends everywhere,
You cannot count their numbers.
We stand for the truth
For peace throughout the world—
To the people, party,
You gave a bright path.
Dear party,
Praise to you,
Praise forever!
Chorus
