World War II

World War II was a global war that involved fighting in most of the world from 1939 to 1945. Some started fighting as early as 1937. The two main "teams" of the world consisted of the Allies and the Axis powers. It is the deadliest and most expensive war in human history. Between 50 to 85 million people died – most of whom were civilians.
