Ottoman Empire

The Ottoman Empire, also known as the Turkish Empire, was a Turkish Islamic empire that controlled much of the Balkans, West Asia, and North Africa between the 14th and early 20th centuries. It was founded at the end of the 13th century in northwestern Anatolia by the Turkoman tribal leader Osman I. However, the first national anthem wasn't used until the 19th century.
