Indonesia

Indonesia, officially the Republic of Indonesia (Republik Indonesia), is a nation in Southeast Asia and Oceania. As the biggest archipelago country in the world, Indonesia has over 18,000 islands.

As it is a country with many different tribes and ethnic groups, the music of Indonesia itself is also very diverse, coming in hundreds of different forms and styles. Every region have its own culture and art, and as a result traditional music from area to area also uniquely differs from one another. In general, traditional music and songs of Indonesia compromises a strong beat and harmony with strong influence from Indian and Malay classical music.

Each province of Indonesia also has its own anthem.
