Agustín García Calvo (15 October 1926 – 1 November 2012) was a Spanish poet, playwright, philologist, and philosopher. He was born and raised in Zamora, Castile and León, and lived there until his death in 2012. He is famous for shaping western continental philosphy in the 20th century. He also wrote several pieces, including the anthem of the Community of Madrid in 1983, which was put to music by Pablo Sorozábal Serrano.
